MOONLIGHT
Nap Bar | Creation and design | Lyon | 300 sqm
Fictitious group project
The goal here is to offer a surprising interior, inviting future tenants to live an experience in an extraordinary interior.
The name of this commune, Tassin la Demi-lune, refers to the houses built which then gave the original half-moon appearance.
This apartment is therefore essentially based on volumes and furniture circular in the shape of a semicircle. The project is aimed at a clientele seeking rest and calm in a timeless bubble, inviting them to discover the city and its surroundings, but also to work in a place prone to reflection and imagination. Professionals, couples, and families are welcome.

The living area is bathed in natural light thanks to the openings between the lounge and the kitchen. The colours chosen are soft, reminiscent of a sunset. Light-reflecting materials such as glass and metal lend a sense of lightness to the whole space.

Each custom-made element is carefully considered and designed using software, taking into account the types of panels and their thickness, before being sent to the carpenter or metalworker.
The hallway furniture features a built-in seat with foam padding and storage space for customers to store their shoes, jackets and suitcases.

A chronology is created throughout the different rooms thanks to the colours and coverings used. The shades become increasingly dark and muted, and the coverings are more opaque. In the bathroom and bedroom, the space becomes more intimate and takes on a half-moon shape, in keeping with the concept.
In order to add more natural light to the living room and master bedroom, I took the initiative to open up part of the roof to install a skylight.
